Love coffee but missing during hot summer day. Let’s prepare some Sparkling carbonated coffee with Canopy Kaapi
Fizz coffee is made using normal cold brew coffee ingredients, but with the addition of sparkling water/carbonated soda. The water gives it a carbonation that provides a nice bubbly kick, that when combined with the strong taste and familiar coffee flavor, is totally unbeatable.
Preparing Coffee:
- Cold Brew : Take a glass tumbler, combine the Canopy Kaapi coffee Powder and water. Cover and let sit in the fridge for 12 to 24 hours. Strain the coffee concentrate through mesh sieve. This produces coffee concentrate decoction which can be used multiple time.
Measure your coffee concentrate and add water as needed to reach 1 cup.
- Hot brew : Use South Indian coffee filter or Mocha pot or expresso get the strong coffee decoction. Use it as per the need.
Adding Flavors:
Use sweetener syrup and/or lemon to counteract the bitterness of the carbonation. Syrup can be prepared by adding 1 part Sugar/Jaggery/sweetener with 1 portion of water. Alternate you can use honey or maple syrup.
Fizzing the Canopy Kaapi :
Add ice to the glass, and then fill it ⅓ full with coffee concentrate. Top it off with sparkling water/Soda water.
You savor more by adding cream/vanilla ice cream on top with sprinkle of cocoa.
